Social engagement is a key factor to longevity among senior living residents. The Goodman Group managed communities offer a number of ways to connect and engage in social activities whether they are outings, entertainment or happy hour.
Dining
Residents enjoy a restaurant-style dining experience that offers healthy and fresh choices. Each chef-inspired meal is thoughtfully plated. Residents have the option to choose from a menu with a variety of balanced food options including our Food for Life™ items that are lower in sodium, fat and calories.
Fitness
Opportunities to improve mobility, strength and overall wellness include FIT Functional Fitness®, designed to help improve residents’ core strength, balance and cardiovascular health, as well as promote relaxation. The goal is to increase overall health and wellbeing, reduce potential for falls, and encourage residents to remain active.
Select managed communities also offer Rock Steady Boxing classes, an affiliate program of Rock Steady Boxing, Inc., for individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Classes are taught by Rock Steady Boxing Certified Coaches and include an exercise program that is designed to improve quality of life through non-contact boxing-based fitness curriculum. Workouts focus on overall fitness, strength training, reaction time and balance.
Spiritual
Our spiritual care initiatives, such as Soaring®, support our residents’ spirits, helping them find peace, purpose and meaning. The definition of spirituality can be expansive. We recognize the various ways individuals express faith and spirituality, and encourage residents to explore past and new experiences.

Bringing together people of all ages is an important focus of The Goodman Group managed communities. Children learn from the experiences and encouragement of seniors, while children’s wonder and boundless enthusiasm help keep seniors young at heart.
Service
Valiant Veterans® is open to anyone who has served in the U.S. military, as well as their spouses, family members and friends, giving veterans a chance to talk with one another, and to be honored for their commitment to our country. Volunteer opportunities are also an important part of service and are available for individuals who want to donate their time and make a difference.
