Chaska, Minn. (Nov. 12, 2024) – The Goodman Group is proud to announce that five of its managed communities have been recognized as Best Nursing Homes for 2025 by U.S. News & World Report.
Since 2009, U.S. News’ annual Best Nursing Homes ratings have assisted American families in need of either short-term rehabilitation or long-term care for themselves or a loved one.
Aspire Transitional Care in Flagstaff, Ariz., Gardens at Terracina Health & Rehabilitation in Naples, Fla., The Peaks Health & Rehabilitation in Flagstaff, Ariz., and West Hills Health & Rehabilitation in Portland, Ore., earned their U.S. News Best Nursing Home status by achieving a rating of “High Performing,” the highest possible rating, for Short-Term Rehabilitation. Alamitos West Health & Rehabilitation in Los Alamitos, Calif., earned their U.S. News Best Nursing Home status by achieving a rating of “High Performing” for Long-Term Care. U.S. News gives the designation of Best Nursing Home only to those that satisfy U.S. News’ proprietary assessment of consistent performance in quality measures.
“I would like to congratulate the five managed communities that have been recognized for receiving the highest rating from U.S. News,” said Kim Te Brugge, vice president of senior living & health care at The Goodman Group. “Your compassion and commitment to improving the lives of residents and patients shines through each day, and your efforts are so appreciated. Thank you for everything you do for the managed communities. I am proud of the teams for making a true difference in this industry.”
For the 2025 edition, U.S. News evaluated nearly 15,000 nursing homes on patient and resident outcomes, such as infection rates; staffing levels; potentially inappropriate reliance on antipsychotic drugs; health inspection results and other indicators of quality.
“U.S. News’ Best Nursing Homes ratings put patient well-being at the forefront and provide families with the objective information they need to make confident decisions about their loved ones’ care,” said Ben Harder, chief of health analysis and managing editor at U.S. News. “These annual ratings recognize U.S. nursing homes that deliver high-quality care, earning consistent positive outcomes, and support American families in finding local nursing homes that prioritize safety and well-being.”

I’m not aware of a new rating link! I think the links already in the press release were just private until they released the awards on 11/12.
