Two Communities Managed by The Goodman Group Awarded Nursing Care Center Accreditation from The Joint Commission

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (June 19, 2024) – The Goodman Group is proud to announce that two of its managed communities, Sabal Palms Health & Rehabilitation in Largo, Fla., and Westchester Gardens Health & Rehabilitation in Clearwater, Fla., have earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Nursing Care Center Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care.

“This is the first time two of our managed communities received this accreditation from The Joint Commission and we couldn’t be more thrilled,” said Vice President of Senior Living & Health Care Kim Te Brugge. “This is a testament to the collective effort of our team members, who work around the clock to deliver exceptional service and care to patients and residents within these managed communities. The Joint Commission’s standards are developed in consultation with health care experts and providers, measurement experts and patients. They are informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help health care organizations measure, assess and improve performance. The surveyors also conducted onsite observations and interviews.
