Development is 17th residential community in Minnesota and 27th nationwide for The Goodman Group

Chaska, Minn. (August 3, 2023) – The Goodman Group, located in Minneapolis, Minn., hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for Sandhill Shores on July 31. Sandhill Shores is phase three of The Lakes at Stillwater, a senior living campus located in Stillwater, Minn., and managed by The Goodman Group. Sandhill Shores will be the 17th residential community in Minnesota and the company’s 27th residential community nationwide.

Opening summer of 2024, Sandhill Shores offers 70 one- and two-bedroom luxury apartments for ages 62+. Each apartment home features a full kitchen, nine-foot ceilings, spacious bathrooms, patios and balconies, washer and dryer, and more. Sandhill Shores also offers community and club rooms, a fitness center, outdoor terrace with fire ring, outdoor heated pool, outdoor grilling area, walking paths, heated underground parking available and more.

Residents of Sandhill Shores also enjoy access to many of the community features available at The Lodge, a 139-unit independent living, assisted living and memory care community located on the campus. These features include lakeside views of Long Lake, an outdoor amphitheater, dining venues, a salon and spa, volunteer opportunities, campus-wide events by invitation, and Rock Steady Boxing classes, an affiliate program of Rock Steady Boxing Inc.

The Goodman Family Operating Foundation (TGFOF) and Intergenerational Living & Health Care, Inc. (ILHC) are co-owners of ILHC of Stillwater, LLC, the owner of Sandhill Shores. ILHC is a Minnesota-based nonprofit organization pioneering interactive programming to bring children and seniors together.
