The Goodman Group Signs Agreement with Red Cross for Emergency Preparedness Training

Agreement Facilitated with Minnesota Region of the American Red Cross

CHASKA, Minn. (Dec. 8, 2014)The Goodman Group, a national leader in developing and managing senior living and health care communities, today announced that it has signed an agreement with the American National Red Cross for emergency training courses for its employees at corporate and in its senior living & health care communities across the country. The training courses include Adult and Pediatric First Aid with Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automatic external defibrillator (AED), CPR/Professional Rescuer, and Team First Aid Exercises.

“We wanted to develop a national emergency training course plan with the American National Red Cross so all the employees at our company and at our senior living & healthcare communities can benefit from the knowledge, expertise and consistently high quality training they provide in their preparedness training at each of our locations,” said Constance Schein, national director of Health Services, The Goodman Group. “This training is vital for our staff at our senior living and health care communities where our residents are typically in their 80’s to 90’s, with some even 100 years old or more.”
