Over 600 Easter Lilies donated to six managed communities in Minnesota

Chaska, Minn. (April 2, 2020) – Today, residents and staff at six senior living and health care communities managed by The Goodman Group, a national leader in developing and managing senior living and health care communities, residential communities, and commercial properties, will receive a total of 601 Easter Lilies donated by Gertens Greenhouses, located in Inver Grove Heights, Minn.

“The Goodman Group wishes to express our heartfelt and deep appreciation to Lew and Meg Gerten, their families and employees for the incredible gift of Easter Lilies. The Gerten Family and The Goodman Group hope that the lilies will brighten residents and staff at our managed communities’ day and the Easter Season during this challenging time,” said Craig Edinger, CEO of The Goodman Group.

Now more than ever, it is especially important that our residents stay connected with family, friends and the greater community. Words cannot express our gratitude toward Gertens Greenhouses for thinking of the residents and staff, reaching out and for their kindness that they are showing to our communities.

The following managed communities will receive Easter Lilies: Chandler Place in St. Anthony, St. Anthony Health & Rehabilitation in St. Anthony, The Commons on Marice in Eagan, Autumn Glen Senior Living in Coon Rapids, Pathways on the Park in St. Paul, and The Lodge at The Lakes at Stillwater in Stillwater.

The safety and well-being of our residents and employees continue to be a top priority. The Goodman Group is closely monitoring the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) situation and is staying abreast of updates from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and local health departments. The main focus at the managed communities continues to be prevention.
