Irma Update

Update – Monday, September 11th @ 11:50am EDT.

We are grateful to report that, following the events of Hurricane Irma over the weekend, all residents and team members who took shelter in our managed communities are safe. We continue to be in communication (through cell, text and satellite phones) with regional and community leadership. All teams did a fantastic job of keeping The Goodman Group leadership updated, even throughout the night.

On behalf of all of us at The Goodman Group, we are incredibly proud of how everyone came together to prepare and respond.

Craig Edinger, CEO

Hurricane Irma Preparedness

The safety and well-being of our residents and employees is our highest priority. Comprehensive emergency preparedness plans are in place for our managed Florida senior living and health care communities in Spring Hill, Tampa, Largo, Clearwater, and Naples, and residential communities in Bartow, Largo, Port Charlotte, and Dunedin. All communities are equipped with sufficient water, food, permanent or temporary generators, and supplies. We are taking appropriate actions to keep everyone safe as we watch the storm closely. Directions provided by local and state authorities are being monitored and will be followed as instructed.
